A native of Water Valley, MS, Dr. Tyler Epes attended Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA where she played NCAA softball for four years and obtained a bachelor’s in biomedical biology. She then attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine (SGU) and completed her clinical training at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2023. While at SGU, she maintained memberships with the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, and the American Heartworm Society, and was the president of the Spay and Neuter Pothounds Club. Dr. Epes enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, hunting, and playing team sports. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Buddy, and Tennessee Walker, Dallas. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include ultrasound imaging, internal medicine, and equine medicine and reproduction. Dr. Epes is thrilled to be back near home serving her local community.
